In today’s world, it’s hard to imagine navigating without having a GPS.
I can remember in college living in Kansas City, printing out MapQuest directions prior to starting my day of sales appointments so I could get from point A to point B.
Some of you may even remember using physical maps to navigate where to go when on a vacation or in a new city. Remember Road Atlases!? Apparently, they still exist! LOL

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a GPS for your business –
where you could plug in the destination you’re trying to reach, the outcome you’re wanting to create and then within seconds, turn by turn directions appear to help guide you there?
If I’m honest, I often find myself wishing for a blueprint to follow. Something that would provide the assurance that I’m on the right path and if I stay the course, I’ll end up where I want to go.
(I feel the same way about parenting, but that’s for another time!)
Wouldn’t a blueprint be great when we’re navigating difficult personnel decisions, choosing whether to invest into a new market or product/service offering, trying to determine which strategy will get us the best results, or a myriad of other situations.
We believe if we could just have the confidence that we’re making the RIGHT decision, the pressure and anxiety we feel would lessen greatly.
Unfortunately, maps or GPS with turn-by-turn directions don’t exist in business or in life choices.
But what if you didn’t need a map or GPS?
What if you needed a much more powerful tool to navigate the tough decisions in your business?
Something to follow when you can’t see what’s on the other side of a decision.
Something to guide you when the path isn’t clear (which it often isn’t!)
A GPS assures you you’re on the right path.
However, a compass guides your direction and aligns you when no GPS exists.
You need ALIGNMENT,
not ASSURANCE…
Alignment to your mission.
Alignment to your purpose.
Alignment to your passion.
You could be involved in 100s of professions, why are you in this business in the first place?
What are you deeply passionate about creating in the world and how is this business a vehicle to help you accomplish it?
What’s the mission you’re on that if you succeed in every other arena but fail in this one area, it’s all for nothing?
Maybe you need to dust off a mission or vision statement that’s been sitting in your drawer for the past few years. Maybe you need to create one.
When you have a mission that’s clear, every big decision you make gets filtered through that lens. “How does this decision help contribute to the mission? Will it take me further from or closer to what I want to create? Which choice most closely aligns with the mission we’re on?”
Decisions become FAR clearer when you stop trying to find a GPS and start using your compass.
Are you wishing for a GPS for your business?
OR
Do you have something GUIDING your decisions?
Need help getting aligned to your mission, purpose, and passion?
I can help.
Let’s talk.
